Intelligent Biologically Inspired Design (IBID)

Engineers use biology as a source of ideas for solving engineering problems. However, locating relevant literature is difficult due to vocabulary differences and lack of domain knowledge. IBID is an intelligent search mechanism that uses a functional taxonomy to direct search and a formal modeling notation for annotating relevant search targets

This is an ongoing research project at Georgia Institute of Technology - Design and Intelligence Lab. I got to work on it for 1.5 years while I was pursuing my Masters.

Ratatouille

Ratatouille, a chat bot that promotes you to experiment with new dishes, keeping in mind the ingredients available, your food taste, the time available to cook and the calorie count (It’s as health conscious as you are – want something with extra cheese, Ratatouille will get the best calorie loaded dish for you). And all this while it is interacting with you inside your chat window. It’ll also be by your side for the entire duration of the cooking, and it’ll keep reminding you if it’s time to get the dish out of the oven or when it’s time put the chicken to roast. If you want, it’ll keep entertaining you with ‘fun facts’ about the dish that you’re making or the ingredients that go into it.

Main focus in this project is to recommend customized dishes to you keeping in mind the ingredients you have and the bot can always tell you if you can swap one ingredient with another. All you have to do is ask!

Estimating Policy Success: Political Opinion Mining on Twitter

The Modi Government has precipitated radical changes within the political scenario in India.

Information propagation about policies, reform or general activities of the government through social

media have become a common practice. This, we believe, has substantially influenced the

responsiveness of people to reforms taking place in the country. Our project researches this surge in online political opinions and activities, including (but not limited to) reforms such as the Yemen Evacuation, Swachh Bharat Mission, Yoga Day, and Ganga Rejuvenation. By analysing the twitter dataset through sentiment analysis and opinion mining, we hope to generate a predictive model for user reactions and responses for future reforms. Further scope includes investigating the network structure of user groups based on similar political sentiments, using certain quantitative techniques.

Time Track

Time Track Helps you to capture the time spent on the tasks done. You can create your own tasks and group under various projects. Time Track also provides with a graphical representation of the time entries to have a better understanding of where the time is spent. It is a great way for Resource Management!!

This project was created for a hackathon competition held by Intuit in Banglore, India.Time Track (agile-chamber-2778.herokuapp.com)
